Windows 7 domU with GPU Passthrough high CPU usage

      Nvidia GeForce FX 5800 GPU in full passthrough

    Description

      CPU utilization is pegged at 100% when using <4 vCPUs (in any conifguration, however Windows 7 Enterprise only recognizes 2 sockets)

      Kernel time is nearly identical to CPU utilization much of the time, generally within a few percentage points.

      This renders the domU unusable in performance terms.

      All XS Patches available and updated XenTools have been installed in guest VM. Guest VM had tools upgraded from 6.2; XenServer tested with both complete fresh install and upgrade from 6.2 - same results.

          Bug - A problem which impairs or prevents the functions of the product. XSO-237 High vCPU usage on windows 8.1 with GPU Passthrough renders VM unusable and cannot be reached by RDC or console.
