      Updated for Clarity

      ISSUE
      ======================================================
      Post manual installation of Dundee Alpha 2, testing the static IP config of its management interface from XSCONSOLE, the following message appears in the VNC scrape of DOM0 after connecting to the host via XenCenter:

      Citrix XenServer Host 6.6.80-103848c

      System Booted: 2015-08-22 23:22

      Your XenServer Host has now finished booting.
      To manage this server please use the Citrix XenCenter application.
      You can install XenCenter for Windows from the XenServer installation media.

      You can connect to this system using one of the following network
      addresses:

      IP address not configured

      XenServer Host SSL certificate fingerprint:
      XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

      NOTES
      ======
      Host "CHAMP" is one of 3 static hosts in my personal lab
      He has always retained a static IP per lab conditions for reproduction, etc
      The message stems from /etc/issue
      The message does not appear when using SSH (from XenCenter or external SSH client)
      The "IP address not configured" is not accurate as I am able to work, virtualize, etc
      I raised this issue as I could not track down any new init/dom0 scripts that would update this agetty/tty-based message (it is the equivalent of /etc/motd, but intended for local TTY display)

      PERSONAL NOTES
      ================
      I realize this is Alpha code
      In the office, I cannot find any specific Dundee task related to this as a feature, request, etc
      I have tested rebooting to see if the message ever changes, but it appears static
      Personally, the message has validity in the aspect of a use case – especially if an IP is truly not assigned as this would be seen from direct human console access
