Fresh install of Xenserver 7.0 in Supermicro SYS-2028TR-HTR. It has two dual-port Intel NICs, one of 1 GB and another one with 10 GB ports.
Description
I've installed XS 7.0, with no error. After configuring a LACP bond on the two 10 GB ports, the Link Status of the bond is "Disconnected". The ports of the switch are configured too.
_# /usr/bin/ovs-appctl bond/show bond0
---- bond0 ----
bond_mode: balance-slb
bond may use recirculation: no, Recirc-ID : -1
bond-hash-basis: 0
updelay: 31000 ms
downdelay: 200 ms
next rebalance: 4858 ms
lacp_status: negotiated
active slave mac: 00:00:00:00:00:00(none)
slave eth2: disabled
may_enable: false
slave eth3: disabled
may_enable: false_
If I configure an Active-Active or Active-Passive bond, the link is up.
If I install XS 6.5, LACP works.
I think the problem is with the driver from Intel, as I've been able to reproduce this issue in a FreeBSD 10.3 .
