Description
Hey lads! I hope you like Inception, here is the symptoms:
- Using a physical XenServer 7.1
- On top of that, using a virtual XenServer 7.1 in nested mode with
exp-nested-hvm=true
- When booting a Linux HVM (CentOS 7) on top of that, if memory dynamic max < static max, the Linux guest kernel starts to acts funny (ultra slow, 10min to boot, a lot of hang tasks inside, seems to have big memory management issues)
There is absolutely NO issues whatsoever when dynamic max == static max. So I assume there is memory allocation issue in nested mode.
Does it ring any bell?
