XenCenter doesn't report outdated drivers

After pool-upgrading to XS 7.1 (from 7.0) XC 7.1 didn't report outdated XenTools/drivers.

Installed was 7.1.825, but if I install XenTools supplied with 7.1 and latest patches, it updates to 7.1.950 - and it also doesn't request a reboot, though if I reboot it manually, after a reboot it requests me to do a reboot, due to a replacement of the PV drivers.
Interestingly even before windows reports that new drivers are installed and working. Not sure if that could even end up in a race condition (I already had that, a year or two ago, which led into a patch for XS tools)?
