Minor Description
The keyboard and mouse subsystems are nearly unusable in recent versions of XenServer on IBM BladeCenter-E chassis.
Upon switching to a new console, both mouse and keyboard are usable before becoming completely unresponsive after only a few seconds of inactivity.
The problem is caused by recent versions of the kernel defaulting to autosuspend the USB subsystem.
A workaround can be applied by booting up with the following kernel parameter:
usbcore.autosuspend=-1
