According to http://xenserver.org/partners/developing-products-for-xenserver/19-dev-help/138-xs-dev-perf-turbo.html the reflection of the CPU frequency showing up as the base frequency + 1 MHz (e.g., 2601 vs. 2600) is the only indication that turbo mode is running, but the actual clock frequency itself is not reported back. Utilities such as CPU-Z are also unable to leverage this information. It would be useful to be able to monitor actual CPU frequencies, given that this has been broken for years and it is now recommended with newer versions of XenServer to enable turbo mode.
