Problem updating from 7.1 to XS71E005

HI Guys,

first post so be gentle

I have been using XenServer 6.5 for about a year and ad the opertunity to rebuild the system so I started with a clean install of 7.1

I have XenServer 7.1 set up on one box and applied updates up to and including XS71E005

I have done the recent upgrade of the XenCenter as well which was after applying the E001 E004 and E005 patch

I have now created a new Server (using the same 7.1 ISO) and when I try to apply any update E001 E005 E004 E006 or E007 I get the message

The uploaded update package is invalid

Which is the same as this Bug Report

1. XSO-723

If I try to apply update E006 or E007 to my first server I don't get any error message

If you want to try this yourselves

download ISO 7.1

create a XenServer

download the XenCenter from about a month ago

Install it on a windows 7 box

update the XenServer to E005

update the XENCenter to the current version

Use the same ISO to create a second XenServer

try to update.

 

Happy to try anything you want however please keep in mind I don't speak Linux so will be more than useless unless you step me through the process.
