Patch checking while adding host to a pool

Since 7.1, patches and pack are "merged" into one entity, called "patches". The idea is great, but it seems there is some bad side effects.

At least one: when we add a pack (eg: XOSAN pack), if you try to add a new host into this pool, XenServer will try to compare all the patches, including the packs.

If comparing the XS patch level makes sense, it's a big problem to also include packs, because there is no way to fix it automatically. The workaround would be to only compare patches with starting with "XS".

If it's something you did on purpose, how to deal with this situation?
