    • Affects Version/s: 7.2
    • Fix Version/s: 7.3
    • Component/s: Dom0, Networking

    • Environment:

xenserver 7.2 running on 2 servers.

each with 4x10gbit bonding with mtu set to 9000. Iperf between vms shows a 10gbit/s network so the bonding is ok.

mtu is set to 9000 on the SAN

      Description

The mtu is set to 9000 using gui and cli to the bonding and the disired networks.

Using xe network-list params=all show a mtu of 9000 as shown in xen center.

But we you check with netstat -i, each interface from the bond has a mtu of 9000, but the bonding interface and all bridge from openswitch (xapi1 in our case) still have a 1500 mtu.

We noticed the bug cause the bonding is use to connect to our storage and the performance was terrible (160kb/s in reading but normal in writting).
