Description
CentOS 8's main installation DVD (e.g. CentOS-8.2.2004-x86_64-dvd1.iso) installs a graphical environment by default.
The CentOS 8 template sets the amount of Video RAM to 8MB which seems not to be enough to allow the graphical environment to start: after answering the first boot questions, it freezes instead of displaying the login manager.
Setting Video RAM to 16MB allows to go further and use the graphical environment.
Since this happens when following the default CentOS 8 installation (which installs the graphical environment by default), I suggest to raise the amount of Video RAM to 16 MB in the template, unless that may cause other issues.
